Today is Princess' 11th Bday. I'm at work, but Hubby is home with her and Sonny Boy. Princess and Hubby are making a birthday cake. They've only called twice to discuss what is a cake pan and what is a pie pan, and then to tell me that there was no oil in the house (when we have 2 large containers - one vegetable, the other olive). It will be interesting to see what the cake looks like when I get home tonight!Princess' birthday is a little different for me each year than Sonny Boy's. I was not present (nor in pain), and it was 10 months later before I got to hold my little bundle of joy. So every year I give thanks and offer prayers for Princess' birth mommy, who loved her enough to make sure she was at a caring place where her new family could find her and adopt her. I hope somewhere in her heart, she knows that Princess has a very loving family who see her as one of the two best gifts ever given to Hubby and me.

Princess is a very lucky girl. She is loved by such a wonderful family. Her extended family thanks you for allowing her to be a part of our lives as well.
