Princess and I decided about 10 days ago to host a Mother Daughter Holiday Tea Party. We both love tea and the goodies that come with it. We had a favorite place in Asheville for high tea that we miss quite a lot.
We invited a wide assortment of people - family, girl scout troop, various friends and neighbors. It was lots of fun planning and cooking, and we had the added bonus of getting the house clean before everyone arrived. Sonny Boy and Hubby had lots of cleaning to do, but we got rid of them for the actual party. I still have mini cranberry nut muffins and mini raisin scones left - the cucumber sandwiches and chocolate filled croissants were gone pretty quickly.
Might have to do this again next year...
